All presentations will need to be compatible with PowerPoint 2007. To ensure proper display onsite, use these instructions. These instructions refer to the Office 2007 or PowerPoint 2007 version. If you have a different version of PowerPoint, these instructions may not reflect exactly what you see.

Saving Your Presentation - MAC Users

  • Use the “File►Save as…” menu command.
  • Choose a location at which to save the file.
  • Make sure “Append file extension” is checked.
  • Click the “Options” button.
  • For “Save PowerPoint files as” choose the option with the word “presentation” rather than the one with the word “movie”
  • Click the “OK” button to close the “Options” window and click the “OK” button to save the file.
  • If you included any video clips or other linked objects in your presentation, you will need to create a StuffIt (.sit) or zipped (.zip) archive including the .ppt file you just saved, any video clips, and other linked objects.  This archive should be uploaded.
  • If you did not include any video clips or other linked objects, you can upload the .ppt file that you just saved.
