The American Society of Animal Science (ASAS), American Dairy Science Association (ADSA) and American Society for Nutrition (ASN) are collaborating on a one-day event, titled Regulation of Nutritional Intake and Metabolism, a pre-conference to the 2012 ADSA-ASAS Joint Annual Meeting. This is the second year that these organizations have partnered on a scientific topic that has implications to both animal and human health.
Highlighted sessions include:
- Top experts in metabolism, endocrinology and nutrition
- Symposia that span the spectrum of mechanistic to applied and include implications for a variety of animal species.
- Keynotes from outside, related disciplines that will bring a unique view to the context of the presented science.
- Panel discussions to foster an open, collaborative dialogue with attendees.
